Who are the speakers?

Gilles Depypere is research coordinator and researcher at the Howest AI Lab. He specializes in AI modeling and applying AI in a practical context. He also teaches these topics to students and professionals.

Karel Mol is a consultant and commercial agent for Ubora (via Talpaconsult), with decades of experience in the business world. He is closely following the rollout of Solid (Social Linked Data) and related developments via Digitaal Vlaanderen and Athumi.

Rolf Vermeulen is the managing director of Ubora. Since 2016, he has immersed himself in the world of GDPR. As a specialist, he has guided numerous organizations in their quest for GDPR compliance, never losing sight of how it should be applied in practice.

Steven Hamerlinck is a product owner of managed security services at Proximus NXT but is also a co-founder of the startup UnlockAI.

Thomas Uyttenhove has been working as a Machine Learning Engineer at the Gent-based AI specialist ML6 for 3.5 years.
